Class arrangements after Lunar New Year holidays (Released on 10-02-2021)

The Education Bureau (EDB) announced that secondary schools could arrange students to return to schools to attend no more than half day (either in the morning or in the afternoon) face-to-face classes. The upper population limit of students to return to a school for each session should be capped at one third of the school’s total number of students. Please note the following arrangements:

 

(A) Lesson Arrangements

With regard to the announcement, our school has the following arrangements for the week after the Lunar New Year holidays (22/02-26/02):

(B) Sanitation and Epidemic Prevention Measures

1. To avoid the danger of spreading the virus while eating, please arrange your children to have breakfast or lunch at home before going to school. The school tuck shop is closed and students are not allowed to eat at school.

2. Cooperation from parents and students are important for us to maintain a clean and safe environment. We call on your support to step up environmental hygiene in the household, and, on top of that, implement the following measures strictly:

− Pay attention to the health condition of your child. He/ she should stay at home and see a doctor immediately if symptom, especially fever, is detected. If your child is still within the quarantine period, they must not go to school.

− To prevent infection, please ask your child to wear a mask (also applicable when taking transportation) and bring a mask for replacement to school.

− You are required to notify our school immediately in case of any of the following situations, to facilitate our prompt action in taking contingency measures and informing the EDB:

(a) Your child has been confirmed infection of COVID-19; or

(b) Your child has been classified as “close contact of an infected person” with COVID-19.
