15th May, a day for students to share their learning outcome

On 15th May, the school operated differently from its conventional day. The school was filled with students eagerly presenting their projects while the examiners asking students questions and deliberating on shortlisted groups for the finale.

Responding to the new educational reform, traditional teaching method is gradually changing from pure knowledge transmission to an interactive approach between “learning and teaching” to show students’ enquiry and problem solving skills and as well as enhancing students’ vision in their diversity of knowledge and subjects. This was a day where all teachers looked forward to seeing how students demonstrated their research and learning outcomes in their assigned or self-selected topic. The following were the topics:

Project Topics

Understanding bullying in Hong Kong schools

My Version: My modified product

Self-motivated Science Investigation

Independent Enquiry Studies

S4 - 5
