Supporting Services and Guidance for the Expatriate (ethnic minority) Students

We have worked with a number of social organizations to commence a series of supporting guidance services to meet the learning requirements of the expatriate (ethnic minority) students. Major items include

  • Offering tailor-made academic support services for the students with emphasis on the learning motivation, Mathematics education and the reading and writing part of the English Language education
  • Providing comprehensive guidance support services so as to raise students’ self-image and to help them cope with problems on the daily life aspect aiming that they can integrate in the life in Hong Kong and have a positive image of the future
  • Emphasizing on the teamwork among students and the importance of regulations abidance
  • Encouraging the students to take an active role in various social voluntary services as so to actualize the contribution made these students and allow the public to eliminate their prejudice towards these students
  • Focusing on giving more guidance about career and further studies, given the relatively limited career or academic path that they have

Providing support and guidance to students through the close collaboration with external parties

The school has the Guidance Committee, Career Guidance Committee and the Discipline Committee to provide support and guidance to the students.  In addition, we also work closely the school social workers (Hong Kong Christian Service, Kwun Tong Integrated Children and Youth Service).
