On the 21st March, the fourth series of the We Are Equal Series had been held in the form of Anti-Discrimination Day in our school’s 3rd Floor Podium. The event was sponsored by the Equal Opportunities Commission and students of all forms were in invited to participate in booths co-organized by the English Club, students of 5C and teachers from Hip Wo. The variety of activities organized was a proverb competition, speed dating and a guess me contest while teachers joined force to establish a hot dog stand for students that want to ‘Hit Out The Discrimination of Our Generation’ but at the same time portraying the concept of school spirit; ‘Hipwoism’.
Thus, not to forget that there were distribution of Anti-Discrimination flag during the morning for students to show support. Besides the participants, the audience also had the chance to try out the hot dog made by teachers after enjoying the booth activities organized by our fellow school mates. The event was surely delightful. This experience was wonderful and surely HipWoers would look forward for yet another event!
